在多數人的印象中，非裔芭蕾舞者並不常見，一位曾經在知名的紐約市芭蕾舞團擔綱演出的非裔舞者，決定藉由這樣的經驗，改變一般人對於非裔芭蕾舞者的刻板印象。
非裔芭蕾舞者愛伊莎：「謝謝你！有一張我和2個小女孩的照片，是我在指導她們一些芭蕾舞動作，讓我意識到我需要做更重要的事，而且它開始有了變化，人們會要求他們也想公開入鏡，能從照片的角度看到自己，對女孩子來說這很重要，因為孩子會有你看不到的一面，我也沒看過非裔芭蕾舞者，在我決定要成為芭蕾舞者之前，對我來說所處的環境很重要，因為它揭示了我從何而來。」
愛伊莎用影像說故事，也在社區開班教授芭蕾舞課程，讓大家知道，人人都可以擁有優雅的芭蕾儀態。
