蔡英文：前進東南亞 與新住民一同另闢台灣價值
[新頭殼newtalk] 總統蔡英文今（23）日中午於宜蘭參加與新住民姐妹的餐敘，她表示，宜蘭是創造台灣價值之所在，期待宜蘭縣長候選人陳歐珀與新住民一同打拚，為台灣另創新的價值。
蔡英文今天在宜蘭走透透，中午由陳歐珀、新愛佳協會理事長徐慧諭、婦女後援會總會長林素雲與地方黨公職陪同，與新住民姐妹一同餐敘。
其中一位上台致詞的武芳草坦言「她的小孩在哪裡，她的家就在哪裡。」2016年在羅東開了首間3D果中花店的她，當起果中花講師，今年還在國際青年創意美學競賽，獲得金牌殊榮。他鼓勵新住民姐妹們「在台灣人人都有機會，只要用心努力，什麼問題都不是大問題」隨後，贈送她去年出版的果中花教學書籍給蔡英文，為她的「台灣夢」寫下見證。
蔡英文，希望透過新南向政策，和東南亞國家加強連結並互相幫助，不只在經濟上，在文化、教育或在公民社會上也能有更深入的連結。這中間最好的橋樑，便是我們在台灣的新住民。
因此，蔡英文向各位新住民拜託，一定要教小孩母語，因為每個母語代表著每位新住民的文化與社會，讓小孩了解母語，將來也就能成為台灣跟新移民的母國最重要的連結。
